Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Feng Kanghou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in September this year. In the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction, the work Calligraphy Couplet in Seal Script, 1983 sold for HKD 32,000.00 (€ 3,860.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Kanghou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three White Furong Seals in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 885,000.00 (€ 107,843.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Kanghou erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Seal Script, 1983 für HKD 32.000,00 (€ 3.860,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Kanghou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three White Furong Seals im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 885.000,00 (€ 107.843,17).
