Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Calligraphy in Seal Script by Feng Kanghou. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,235.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Kanghou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three White Furong Seals in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 885,000.00 (€ 107,843.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Seal Script von Feng Kanghou zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.235,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Kanghou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three White Furong Seals im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 885.000,00 (€ 107.843,17).
