Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Feng Kanghou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy in Caoshu sold for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,332.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Kanghou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three White Furong Seals in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 885,000.00 (€ 107,843.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Kanghou erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Caoshu für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.332,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Kanghou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three White Furong Seals im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 885.000,00 (€ 107.843,17).
