Upper estimate price exceeded by 68 %.
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Zhuanshu by Feng Kanghou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It achieved a price of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,187.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Admittedly, works by Feng Kanghou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three White Furong Seals in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 885,000.00 (€ 107,843.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Zhuanshu von Feng Kanghou wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.187,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Kanghou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three White Furong Seals im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 885.000,00 (€ 107.843,17).
