Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphic Couplets by Feng Kanghou was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 3,294.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Kanghou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three White Furong Seals in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 885,000.00 (€ 107,843.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets von Feng Kanghou kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 3.294,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Kanghou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three White Furong Seals im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 885.000,00 (€ 107.843,17).
