In December 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde, which included the work French Le Jardin by Felix Nussbaum. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 24,750.00 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Felix Nussbaum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stillleben Mit Schachteln (Still Life With Boxes) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 271,633.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit French Le Jardin von Felix Nussbaum zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 24.750,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Felix Nussbaum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stillleben Mit Schachteln (Still Life With Boxes) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 271.633,74).
