Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art | London, which included the work Bildnis Eines Karabiniere (Portrait Of A Carabiniere) by Felix Nussbaum. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 81,900.00 (€ 90,942.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Felix Nussbaum - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stillleben Mit Schachteln (Still Life With Boxes), which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 197,000.00 (€ 271,633.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bildnis Eines Karabiniere (Portrait Of A Carabiniere) von Felix Nussbaum zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 81.900,00 (€ 90.942,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Felix Nussbaum mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stillleben Mit Schachteln (Still Life With Boxes) beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 197.000,00 (€ 271.633,74) versteigert wurde.
