Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,395.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Zuccaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Submission Of The Emperor Frederick Barbarossa To Pope Alexander Iii in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 140,230.71).
