Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Man Seated At A Table, Holding A Palm by Federico Zuccaro was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2013. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,141.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Zuccaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Submission Of The Emperor Frederick Barbarossa To Pope Alexander Iii in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 140,230.71).
