Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Federico Herrero was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,799.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Herrero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paisaje in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,753.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Federico Herrero kam im Dezember 2016 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.799,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico Herrero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paisaje im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.753,32).
