Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fausto Pirandello could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art auction, the work Girasoli changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,646.55) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Pirandello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bagnanti in November last year with an auction result of EUR 240,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fausto Pirandello konnte im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art wechselte die Arbeit Girasoli für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.646,55) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Pirandello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bagnanti im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 240.000,00.
