The work Pesce by Fausto Melotti was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in November last year. It achieved a price of EUR 4,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Melotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Pioggia in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 625,682.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pesce von Fausto Melotti wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Melotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Pioggia im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 625.682,41).
