Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Farhad Moshiri could be acquired at Phillips in London in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work TINY JAR (GOLD ON MULTICOLOR) changed hands for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,702.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farhad Moshiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Farhad Moshiri konnte im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit TINY JAR (GOLD ON MULTICOLOR) für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.702,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
