Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Farhad Moshiri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2021. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Untitled (From the Jar Series) sold for GBP 52,920.00 (€ 62,167.37) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Farhad Moshiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Farhad Moshiri erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wurde die Arbeit Untitled (From the Jar Series) für GBP 52.920,00 (€ 62.167,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
