Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Faramarz Pilaram for GBP 2,422.50 (€ 2,822.21). This price was achieved in the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Faramarz Pilaram achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 385,000.00 (€ 247,302.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Faramarz Pilaram für GBP 2.422,50 (€ 2.822,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Faramarz Pilaram erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 385.000,00 (€ 247.302,16).
