Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Composition 8) by Faramarz Pilaram was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 62,500.00 (€ 57,015.14). Admittedly, works by Faramarz Pilaram have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 385,000.00 (€ 247,302.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Composition 8) von Faramarz Pilaram wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 62.500,00 (€ 57.015,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Faramarz Pilaram auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 385.000,00 (€ 247.302,16).
