This artwork by Farah Atassi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2018. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Still Life in Red Interior sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,695.82) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. This high result makes Still Life in Red Interior the most expensive artwork by Farah Atassi that we have observed at auctions so far.
