Upper estimate price exceeded by 58 %.
The work Landscape by Fang Xiang was sold in the Modern Art Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in February last year. It achieved a price of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,178.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Xiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Garden in April this year with an auction result of HKD 114,000.00 (€ 116,416.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Fang Xiang wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.178,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Xiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Garden im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 116.416,30).
