Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers In The Garden by Fang Xiang was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 161,000.00 (€ 16,575.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fang Xiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Garden in April this year with an auction result of HKD 114,000.00 (€ 116,416.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers In The Garden von Fang Xiang wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 161.000,00 (€ 16.575,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Xiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Garden im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 116.416,30).
