A top price for Fang Xiang - as previously expected
The work Garden by Fang Xiang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 114,000.00 (€ 116,416.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Garden is the most expensive artwork by Fang Xiang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Garden von Fang Xiang wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 116.416,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 90.000,00 – 120.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Garden das teuerste Kunstwerk von Fang Xiang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
