A top price for Fang Congyi - as previously expected
The work Mountain Scenery by Fang Congyi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 5,900,000.00 (€ 681,930.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 5,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mountain Scenery is the most expensive artwork by Fang Congyi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Mountain Scenery von Fang Congyi kam im Mai 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 5.900.000,00 (€ 681.930,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000.000,00 – 6.000.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mountain Scenery das teuerste Kunstwerk von Fang Congyi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
