Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape In Mist by Fang Congyi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. It changed hands for a price of HKD 286,800.00 (€ 18,616.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 240,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Congyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Scenery in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,900,000.00 (€ 681,930.85).
