This artwork by Fang Congyi achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2013. In the Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Mountain Beyond Mountain sold for HKD 23,000.00 (€ 2,280.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Congyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Scenery in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,900,000.00 (€ 681,930.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Congyi erzielte im Mai 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Mountain Beyond Mountain für HKD 23.000,00 (€ 2.280,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00.
