Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Couplet In Running Script by Fan Zengxiang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,004.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Zengxiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,040.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script von Fan Zengxiang wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.004,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Zengxiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.040,59).
