The work Calligraphy Couplet by Fan Zengxiang was worth HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,713.87) to a buyer in April 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II at POLY in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fan Zengxiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,040.59).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet von Fan Zengxiang war einem Käufer im April 2017 HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.713,87) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Fan Zengxiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.040,59) versteigert wurde.
