Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vased Flower by Fan Tchunpi was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 114,000.00 (€ 12,680.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Tchunpi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Flute Player in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 9,440,000.00 (€ 1,110,892.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vased Flower von Fan Tchunpi wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 12.680,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Tchunpi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Flute Player im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.440.000,00 (€ 1.110.892,17).
