Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Fan Tchunpi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Plum With Zen Thought sold for HKD 1,770,000.00 (€ 194,809.41) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fan Tchunpi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Flute Player in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 9,440,000.00 (€ 1,110,892.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fan Tchunpi erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Plum With Zen Thought für HKD 1.770.000,00 (€ 194.809,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fan Tchunpi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Flute Player im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.440.000,00 (€ 1.110.892,17).
