The work Pink Flower in White Vase by Fan Tchunpi was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,894.91), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Tchunpi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Flute Player in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 9,440,000.00 (€ 1,110,892.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pink Flower in White Vase von Fan Tchunpi wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.894,91) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Tchunpi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Flute Player im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.440.000,00 (€ 1.110.892,17).
