Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Guggenheim Museum by Ezra Stoller for USD 2,813.00 (€ 2,028.12). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ezra Stoller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Miami Parking Garage, 1948 in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,903.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Guggenheim Museum von Ezra Stoller für USD 2.813,00 (€ 2.028,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ezra Stoller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Miami Parking Garage, 1948 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.903,95).
