Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ewa Juszkiewicz was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 4,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 500,338.27). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ewa Juszkiewicz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a Lady (After Louis Leopold Boilly), which sold at auction in May last year for USD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,453,732.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ewa Juszkiewicz kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 4.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 500.338,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ewa Juszkiewicz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady (After Louis Leopold Boilly) beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 1.560.000,00 (€ 1.453.732,18) versteigert wurde.
