Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Playing With The Cat by Evert Pieters was sold in the 19th Century EuropeanArt auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,650.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Evert Pieters - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,914.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Playing With The Cat von Evert Pieters wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.650,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Evert Pieters mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 15.250,00 (€ 17.914,82) versteigert wurde.
