Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Activities in the courtyard by Evert Pieters was sold in the Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evert Pieters have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,914.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Activities in the courtyard von Evert Pieters wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evert Pieters auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.250,00 (€ 17.914,82).
