This artwork by Evert Jan Ligtelijn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2004. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Loenen Aan de Vecht: Along The River Vecht sold for EUR 2,868.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Evert Jan Ligtelijn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Loosdrechtse Plassen: het Plashuis, which sold at auction in January 2002 for EUR 9,987.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Evert Jan Ligtelijn erzielte im September 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Loenen Aan de Vecht: Along The River Vecht für EUR 2.868,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Evert Jan Ligtelijn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen: het Plashuis beobachtet, die im Januar 2002 für EUR 9.987,50 versteigert wurde.
