Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A busy construction site by Evert Jan Ligtelijn was sold in the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,680.00. Admittedly, works by Evert Jan Ligtelijn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loosdrechtse Plassen: het Plashuis in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 9,987.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A busy construction site von Evert Jan Ligtelijn wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.680,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evert Jan Ligtelijn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen: het Plashuis im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.987,50.
