Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Lucky Man by Eva Rothschild. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,648.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eva Rothschild - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Double Bow, which sold at auction in March 2019 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,918.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lucky Man von Eva Rothschild zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.648,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eva Rothschild mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Double Bow beobachtet, die im März 2019 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.918,42) versteigert wurde.
