Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tulips And Spirea by Eugene Speicher was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,508.67). Admittedly, works by Eugene Speicher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Babette in August last year with an auction result of USD 14,025.00 (€ 13,934.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tulips And Spirea von Eugene Speicher kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.508,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugene Speicher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Babette im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.025,00 (€ 13.934,43).
