The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,777.82) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugène Ebiche - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jeune Fille En Bleu, Circa 1930, which sold at auction in October 2011 for EUR 21,605.00.

Die Arbeit Paysage de Provence von Eugène Ebiche kam im Februar 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.777,82) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eugène Ebiche mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jeune Fille En Bleu, Circa 1930 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für EUR 21.605,00 versteigert wurde.
