Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Eugène Chigot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October 2015. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Le Pont Sur Le Grand Morain sold for EUR 7,150.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eugène Chigot; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Jeune femme au bord de l'étang sold at auction in March 2017 with the realized price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,789.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène Chigot erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Le Pont Sur Le Grand Morain für EUR 7.150,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Eugène Chigot; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Jeune femme au bord de l'étang im März 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.789,26).
