A top price for Eugène Chigot - as previously expected
The work Jeune femme au bord de l'étang by Eugène Chigot was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in London in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,789.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jeune femme au bord de l'étang is the most expensive artwork by Eugène Chigot that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Jeune femme au bord de l'étang von Eugène Chigot wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.789,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
