Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eugene Berman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Backview of Proserpina in Black sold at auction in May this year with the realized price of USD 68,040.00 (€ 63,863.34).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Eugene Berman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Backview of Proserpina in Black im Mai diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 68.040,00 (€ 63.863,34).
