It achieved a price of HKD 13,750.00 (€ 1,501.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ettore Sottsass achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composizione di elementi di legno colorato e specchio, il tutto unito da funi di canapa, designed for Galleria Arform, Milan in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 309,000.00 (€ 351,918.09).

Die Arbeit 'Hyatt' Side Table von Ettore Sottsass wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion CURATED: TURN IT UP bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 13.750,00 (€ 1.501,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ettore Sottsass erzielen.
