The work Confusing of Brushing Past by Etsu Egami was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 44,831.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Etsu Egami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rainbow in April this year with an auction result of HKD 264,000.00 (€ 269,595.65).

Die Arbeit Confusing of Brushing Past von Etsu Egami kam im November 2021 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 44.831,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Etsu Egami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rainbow im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 264.000,00 (€ 269.595,65).
