This artwork by Etel Adnan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October this year. In the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 327,600.00 (€ 376,175.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Etel Adnan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October 2021 with the realized price of GBP 352,800.00 (€ 417,972.71).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Etel Adnan erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 327.600,00 (€ 376.175,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Etel Adnan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 352.800,00 (€ 417.972,71).
