Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Équilibre - 2018 by Etel Adnan was auctioned at Artcurial in November this year. The price achieved of EUR 4,986.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Etel Adnan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 352,800.00 (€ 417,972.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Équilibre - 2018 von Etel Adnan kam im November diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.986,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Etel Adnan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 352.800,00 (€ 417.972,71).
