Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Greyhound Bus Passengers (Coast to Coast), 1947 by Esther Bubley for USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,855.48). This price was achieved in the auction Crossing America: Photographs from the Consolidated Freightways Collection, Part I at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house.
