In November this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included this untitled work by Esaias Thorén. The auction ended at the price of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,513.02), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Esaias Thorén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Sjöman" in December 2017 with an auction result of SEK 900,000.00 (€ 91,557.15).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Esaias Thorén zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.513,02) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Esaias Thorén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Sjöman" im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 900.000,00 (€ 91.557,15).
