Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Esaias Thorén could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Surrealistic composition with sculpture changed hands for SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,195.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Esaias Thorén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Sjöman" in December 2017 with an auction result of SEK 900,000.00 (€ 91,557.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Esaias Thorén konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit Surrealistic composition with sculpture für SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.195,64) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Esaias Thorén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Sjöman" im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 900.000,00 (€ 91.557,15).
