Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,860.00 (€ 20,665.34). Admittedly, works by Erwin Wurm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fat Car in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Little Big Earth House von Erwin Wurm wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York bei Phillips in 7 - versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.860,00 (€ 20.665,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erwin Wurm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fat Car im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
