The work German The Temple Of Seti I, Abydos by Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner was sold in the European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. It achieved a price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,158.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Across the Golden Horn, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque beyond, Constantinople in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 134,939.32).

Die Arbeit German The Temple Of Seti I, Abydos von Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.158,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View Across the Golden Horn, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque beyond, Constantinople im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 134.939,32).
