Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ernest Pignon-Ernest achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October this year. In the Urban & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Regards - 1996 sold for EUR 459.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Pignon-Ernest achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David Et Goliath, 1990 in February 2014 with an auction result of EUR 26,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernest Pignon-Ernest erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Regards - 1996 für EUR 459,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Pignon-Ernest erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit David Et Goliath, 1990 im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.000,00.
